The research had a quantitative approach. Statistical data were collected and submitted for analysis and discussion. A descriptive study was carried out, where the characteristics of a population with cardiovascular affectations were observed. A retrospective analysis was carried out that allowed the identification of potential risk factors in the study sample. The study population was the patients infected by Covid-19 who suffered affections in the cardiovascular system. The results obtained showed a higher incidence of patients infected by Covid-19 in the year 2021. In the analysis of incidence and severity of cardiovascular complications found in the patients studied, there was a higher frequency of cardiac arrhythmias. On the other hand, it was observed that the majority of patients did not have pre-existing cardiac pathologies.
