Governance and social responsibility in the public management of the Israel Quintero Paredes de Paján Hospital

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze governance and social responsibility in the public management of the Israel Quintero Paredes Hospital in Paján, using a mixed-methodological approach that combines quantitative and qualitative methods. Through surveys based on the Likert scale and direct observations, the commitment of both medical staff and public servants was evaluated. Key aspects such as transparency, integrity, leadership, and service quality were addressed. The results obtained reveal that the hospital promotes a culture rooted in transparency and social responsibility, which are fundamental aspects in the healthcare sector. There was a notable acceptance of governance, public policies, and social responsibility in the hospital's practices, reflecting an inclusive approach and a diversified perspective in improving the institution's policies and practices. In conclusion, the public management of the Israel Quintero Paredes Hospital in Paján is characterized by maintaining high standards of quality and safety, efficient resource management, and equity in access to healthcare services. Leadership practices ensure that decisions and the implementation of public policies and governance reflect a responsible and socially oriented commitment to the community.
