Equipment of main roads and its importance in function of road safety and comfort

Abstract

The present work presents an approach directed to the importance of road equipment, in which incorporated evidence is broken down, such as photos and diagrams that illustrate the actions that can be warned in advance to motorists on a network of main roads. Road signs refer to control, warning, regulation and information devices that are placed vertically, on the sides of the road or raised or horizontal in the form of painted marks or pasted on the road pavement. Traffic signs and information panels during the journey on a section of road are intended to inform in a timely, fast, clear and unequivocal manner about what the user can or should do at all times for better mobility, safety and security. Comfort, being essential to ensure the correct visibility of the same. Therefore, the use of review methodologies that allow denoting transcendent and relevant aspects in the investigation allowed to generate a comparative analysis between general situations. Meanwhile, it is concluded that if the signals do not have good equipment or are deteriorated, serious difficulties arise that can be the main cause of unfortunate traffic accidents.
