Strengthening internal administrative regulations to improve the institutional performance of the social, economic and tourism development management directorate of GAD Paján

Abstract

There is evidence of deficiencies in the compliance with internal administrative regulations due to failures in not having clear functions, procedures and tasks, which make it difficult to achieve the objectives and goals to improve the institutional performance of the Directorate of Social, Economic and Tourism Development Management of the GAD Paján. In view of this problematic situation, the objective of this article is to design strategies for the strengthening of internal administrative regulations in the search to improve the institutional performance of the Directorate. A quantitative methodology was used, with a descriptive design, the type of documentary and field research, using the survey to collect the information. Among the findings, deficiencies in the strategic direction and evaluation of the processes are highlighted. It is concluded that officials require incentives in the search to optimize the functions or tasks performed that fall under the institutional performance, therefore, the design of strategies is necessary for continuous improvement in the institution and its Directorates.
