This study presents a literature review on the pedagogical use of free digital platforms compatible with Google Classroom, highlighting seven main tools: Educaplay, Edpuzzle, Wordwall, Quizizz, Kahoot, Genially, and Nearpod. These platforms foster gamification, autonomous learning, and active student participation, promoting innovation in hybrid and virtual contexts. Non-directly integrable platforms such as Padlet, Canva, and Trello are also considered, as they contribute to the development of 21st-century skills and the creation of more dynamic educational experiences. The review revealed that the integration of these tools enhances teaching by facilitating interaction, continuous assessment, and the development of digital competencies. However, their effective implementation requires clear pedagogical criteria, ongoing teacher training, reliable connectivity, and coherence with curricular objectives. This work is aligned with the outreach project “ Tareas dirigidas y apoyo psicopedagógico para fortalecer el aprendizaje de los alumnos en la Educación Básica Pública de Jipijapa. Fase III 2025” as it emphasizes attention to diversity as the foundation of educational support. Likewise, it relates to the research project “Fortalecimiento del nivel didáctico-pedagógico de los docentes en las instituciones educativas del cantón Jipijapa” by providing theoretical foundations to strengthen teaching practices in different contexts.
