Entrepreneurial skills: An alternative for the training of the entrepreneur
Keywords:
competence; entrepreneurial competences; training process; entrepreneur; entrepreneurship.Abstract
The formation of entrepreneurial skills is imminent, that is, attitudes, skills, and knowledge that a person builds during life and that allows him to function successfully. In the present study, the development of entrepreneurial skills is approached from a theoretical point of view as an alternative for the training of the entrepreneur. A detailed reading and analysis of the content, contributions and theoretical positioning reflected in the scientific literature were carried out. In the synthesis of the results, those that allowed establishing a new theoretical perspective on entrepreneurial skills in the entrepreneurial training process were consolidated. At the end, different assessments are provided on the subject. The term competence is possibly one of the most debated and preferred in educational settings. Conceptual diversity leads to the consideration that it is not a univocal concept, but it should be clear that it is: knowing how to be, knowing how to know, and knowing how to do. Great efforts are detected in being able to build a map of competencies for the entrepreneur. In the training of the entrepreneur, it is vital that the student is predisposed to assume the training process as an entrepreneur, that he turns it into a personal challenge, that he becomes empowered and that he sees it as an opportunity to transform himself, since being an entrepreneur has become an indicator that increases the inclusive potential of the person in the labor market. It is necessary to review the strategies and methods used in the training process, where in addition to curricular activities, extracurricular activities focused on local development are carried out.
