Educational strategy based on affectivity to improve the academic performance of children in the 3rd year of Basic

Abstract

The research entitled Educative strategy based on affectivity to improve the academic performance of children in the 3rd year of Basic, part of the problem concerning the lack of affectivity, the insufficient implementation of the educational strategy, as well as the use of didactic material that allows the learning through lived experience. In this order, the objective is to design an educational strategy based on affectivity to improve the academic performance of 3rd grade students of Basic General Education of the Santa Mariana de Jesús Educational Unit of the Portoviejo canton. Methods of the theoretical level were applied for the incursion in the essences of the variables affectivity and academic performance, also methods of the empirical level, for the inquiries related to the current state of the same and as a mathematical-statistical method the counting of the answers and the percentage calculation. The results show that the students are motivated by the institution, are open and expressive, the most complex subjects are: Mathematics, English, Language and Literature, corroborated by the teachers in the interview. Conclusively, an educational strategy is proposed that includes actions aimed at study techniques.
