Nursing care in pregnant adolescents with arterial hypertension

In family education, it should always be clear that adolescence and pregnancy should not coincide in society, because they can have negative effects on public health, due to the risks and challenges associated with them, with emphasis on hypertensive diseases. It is important to provide adolescents with sexual and reproductive health education and resources to prevent them. The objective of this research is to analyze nursing care for pregnant women with hypertension in the Manta and Cuba Libre ambulatory health centers. It is a qualitative, descriptive, observational study, which was useful to obtain a clear image of the situation of pregnant adolescents in the geographical area of the studied context, a survey was carried out on a sample of 40 pregnant women, the population of pregnant women who have an increased risk of hypertension. It was possible to implement a program with the participation and commitment of pregnant adolescents at risk; which constitutes a practical guide tool for the nursing professional, offering the essential resources for their care and the incorporation of the family in the gestation process, which allowed the identification of the medical and social care needs of pregnant adolescents, to strengthen policies public institutions to address this problem more effectively.
