Computer application for the management of collection and inventory processes of the Chamber of Commerce

Abstract

This study focused on developing a computer application for the management of collection and inventory processes of the Jipijapa Chamber of Commerce. Its theoretical support analyzed the internal processes that needed to be controlled and digitized through a friendly interface. NetBeans was used for the design and structuring of the program, since it uses multiplatform language and has the necessary applications to control the management processes. In addition, the MySQL database manager was used because it is dynamic, easy to use and open source. This research is of a qualitative-quantitative type, in which theoretical methods such as analysis-synthesis, theory-logic, induction-deduction, and techniques such as direct observation and questionnaires were used for data collection and software validation. The survey revealed that 100% of the population believes that it is feasible to implement a computer application that will save time through electronic transfers and facilitate the collaborative and remote work of the Chamber of Commerce. As a result, the use of the SCRUM methodology made it possible to evaluate the system's operability through an agile process, providing greater support and efficiency to the corporation's internal and external processes.
