Cultural manifestations as potential intangible cultural heritage in Latin America and Europe

In current times, the meaning of cultural heritage has evolved from a rigorously gigantic generality, basically aimed at movable and immovable heritage, to a proximity that relates and values, in the same way, intangible cultural heritage. In order to identify the general aspects of cultural manifestations as potential intangible cultural heritage in Latin America and Europe. Methodology: A documentary design was applied and the type of study is explanatory and bibliographic. Results: Intangible heritage, in recent years, has been gaining greater relevance and tourist visibility, benefiting the production of artisan foods based on traditional knowledge. Conclusions: It is essential to strengthen actions to safeguard intangible cultural heritage, with the purpose of protecting ancestral knowledge, allowing the cultural legacy to be kept alive over time, for the benefit of future generations.
