Causas y efectos de hiperbilirrubinemia en neonatales

Resumen

La hiperbilirrubinemia neonatal, es una afección fisiológica que en la mayoría de caso es producida por una inmadures hepática del recién nacido. La bilirrubina es el producto final de la degradación del grupo hemo, la principal característica es la ictericia que se presenta de la cual existen algunos tipos y todos requieren de atención médica. En el presente artículo se expone la causas y efectos que se producen en los neonatos por hiperbilirrubinemia, mediante el método científico, por medio de revisión bibliográfica, se emplearon revistas publicadas entre los años 2017 hasta el presente año,  las revistas que se consideraron fueron Revista chilena de pediatria; Medicina legal de Costa Rica; Revista Pediátrica Elizalde; AEpap; PubMed; elsevier; Revista Scientific, dando como resultado que la hiperbilirrubinemia afecta al 60-80% de los recién nacidos y un 80% en prematuros, el tratamiento dependerá de los síntomas, la edad y el estado general de salud del bebe, la fototerapia es el principal tratamiento de la ictericia, se ha concluido que la ictericia neonatal es una condición común con una variedad de etiologías, puesto que la mayoría de los casos son benignos con un pronóstico favorable resueltos con o sin tratamiento.
