Abstract

Objective: The objective of this systematic review article is to analyze the different contributions and experiences presented in the context of virtual education, product of COVID-19, in the period 2019-2022. Methodology: The inquiry was conducted using the qualitative approach of systematic design, considering the proposal of the PRISMA Declaration. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were used in the analysis process, as shown in the figure of the flow chart; 30 articles were selected as part of the research from a total of 1317. Results: The findings found are based on research of qualitative, mixed type, but impacting on articles of quantitative approach coming mostly in relation to virtual learning; in addition, categories of virtual environments, virtual platforms and digital competence were considered, the four categories should be integrated in order to achieve optimal learning in students. Conclusions: It has been demonstrated that the creativity and innovation of the teaching teams managed to boost the educational service, using different digital technologies for the benefit of teaching learning; in addition, an adequate infrastructure to strengthen digital competencies should be considered as a primary factor.
